The 2014 MTV EMAs (also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards) were held at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland on 9 November 2014.Bruce Gillmer, from Viacom International Media Network (VIMN), confirmed the ceremony would be held in Glasgow for the first time. This was the first time since 2003 when the awards were held in Scotland and the fifth time the United Kingdom has hosted the MTV EMA since the show was hosted in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The event showcases the world’s hottest musical acts in a different city each year.The event was hosted by Nicki Minaj.
Ariana Grande opened the show with “Problem” and “Break Free”. Additional performances from The Magician, Years & Years, Vance Joy and Alicia Keys were featured at the O2 Academy Glasgow. Ozzy Osbourne received the award for Global Icon from Slash. Slash closed the show performing “Crazy Train” featuring The Conspirators and with Myles Kennedy and Simon Neil from Biffy Clyro on vocals.
One Direction and 5 Seconds Of Summer were the biggest winners of the night with three wins, followed by Ariana Grande and Katy Perry.

Crazy Nights became a worldwide hit for Kiss and a platinum album in the United States. Gene Simmons’ participation on the record was limited by his pursit of outside interests, such as acting and producing other groups. The bulk of the work on Crazy Nights fell to Paul Stanley, whose pop instincts dominated the record. Stanley brought in producer Ron Nevison, who had lately demonstrated a penchant for rejuvenating the careers of aging rock acts like Heart and Ozzy Osbourne by getting them to work with outside pop writers on crossover material. He employed that approach withCrazy Nights, and although it yielded commercial singles like “Crazy Crazy Nights” and the power ballad “Reason to Live,” it also resulted in a synth-drenched record that to some sounded like Kiss was unsuccessfully chasing the styles of much younger bands.

Black Sabbath made a two-pronged comeback in 1980 and 1981 when Ronnie James Dio joined their ranks as their new lead singer for the platinum albums, Heaven And Hell and Mob Rules. On the 1982 Mob Rules U.S. tour, they decided to record shows to create the first official Black Sabbath live album. With material drawn evenly between songs written with Ronnie as well as older classics such as “War Pigs” and “Iron Man,” when Live Evil was released at the end of 1982, it represented an accurate and powerful memento of Black Sabbath Mk2 on their second world tour. Although it was hailed by influential heavy metal magazine Kerrang! As “one of the greatest live albums of all time” in 1983, the band was never completely satisfied with the original mix. Now we are able to present a fresh, new 40th anniversary mix of the entire album, remixed from the original analog multi tracks by longtime associate of the band, Wyn Davis. The packaging will also include a 40-page hard back book featuring a newly commissioned 12,000-word essay, the new remix as a double LP, as well as the original double album, newly remastered in 2022 by Andy Pearce.
