In his latest creation, the electrifying “The Vibe Operator”, we find an artist who isn’t just making music — he’s crafting an auditory journey that leaves you in charge of the vibe.

Born and bred in the small town of East Kingston, NH, MIKE BY NAME is a musician who’s been pushing the boundaries of sound for quite some time. With a career that began as the driving force behind the band Fire in the Field, which earned nominations for both New England Music Awards and Boston Music Awards, his music has made its way onto nationally syndicated television shows; however, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Mike’s musical journey.

Now based in the beating heart of music, New York City, and armed with a master’s degree in Songwriting & Production from BerkleeNYC within the legendary Power Station Recording Studio, Mike By Name is poised to unleash his latest creation upon the world. And what a creation it is — the sci-fi rock opera titled “The Vibe Operator,” slated for release in 2023.

In “The Vibe Operator,” Mike extends an invitation to the listener — come on down and liberate your mind. He beckons you to become the operator, to take control of the vibe. It’s a serenade to the soul, a sonic journey that’s both thought-provoking and utterly danceable.
