When four wind soloists such as the world-famous trumpeter Reinhold Friedrich, his colleagues Hannes Läubin (trumpet), Brandt Attema (trombone) and his son David Friedrich (trombone) meet with the Essen Cathedral organist Sebastian Küchler–Blessing – then “brass & organ” is suddenly able to cheer and touch: JUBILISSIMO!

The singing form of the Jubilee, the wordless breaking out into tones and melodies, can be found from the singing of birds to all religious forms of worship. The Church father Augustine often defined jubilation as an inarticulate expression of excessive joy at the sight of the greatness of creation. However, not only exuberant joy, but also boundless sorrow can manifest itself in the jubilee: this is what Enjott Schneider realizes in Gethsemane and Calvary as the two metaphors of the Christian passion.
