The mezzo-soprano Graziela Valceva Fierro has already performed in about 30 countries on 4 continents. Born in Varna, she studied at the music school “Dobri Hristov” in the class of Zlatka Kuntcheva.

She holds two master’s degrees: from the Sofia Music Academy and the Lausanne University of Music in Switzerland. She perfected her skills in Rome, at the “Boris Hristov” Academy with Nicola Ghiuselev, but also with Teresa Berganza, Christa Ludwig and Grace Bambry, with whom she gave several concerts. She is laureate of the Bulgarian television competition of the program “Every Sunday” with president Nicola Ghiuselev, the international competitions of the European Institute for the dissemination of art and Italian culture in Florence, “Giuseppe di Stefano” -Trapani, “Francisco Vinas” -Barcelona, the prestigious Foundation “Lenaards” -Switzerland and the foundations “Nicati de Luze”, “Rees”, “Pro Arte” and “Max D. Jost”, as well as the Club Wagnérien Suisse Romand and the Wagner Festival Bayreuth.

At the age of 23 she made her debut in the role of Orlovski / ”Die Fledermaus” in the grandiose production of Plamen Kartalov at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. Then follows her debut on the Varna stage in the role of Azucena in “Il Trovatore”. Between 1995-1997 she was a soloist of the Sofia Musical Theater troupe and also performed in the Varna, Plovdiv and Sofia opera houses.

Since 1997 Graziela Valceva Fierro lives and works in Switzerland. At the same time, she is invited, as a soloist, in Europe, Canada, the United States and Cuba. In 2006 she became a member of the soloist ensemble of the Lausanne Opera. His professional path leads him to collaborate with prestigious chefs such as Kent Nagano, Fabio Luisi, Bruno Campanella, Evelino Pido, Armin Jordan, Peter Maag, Jost Meier, Yuri Bělohlávek, Bernard Têtu and Jonathan Darlington.
