Park Evans—a native of Ithaca, New York—had a long lasting musical tenure in Minneapolis. He performed with multiple groups and artists in the Midwest, including Chris Morrissey’s quartet (bassist for Norah Jones and Mark Giuliani), Corey Palmer & Love Trade, Mike Michel, New Primitives, Katie Gearty, Fire Bell, Enormous Quartet, Anthony Cox, and Sophia Shorai. He now calls Seattle home and performs around the U.S. and Canada with vintage swing/r&b outfit Birch Pereira and the Gin Joints. Known for his cinematic and poignant compositions, he has released six albums of original music and has also worked as a studio musician on numerous sessions—including jazz, rock, alt-country, reggae, and folk.
