Records, a brand new 10 track live album recorded across the band’s recent tours. The record marks the second volume of a two-part compilation series and was preceded by the companion live album The Audience is This Way, which arrived on July 21, 2018. Each release contains 10 different never-before-heard recordings of some of their most iconic hits. The Audience is That Way (The Rest of The Show) Vol. 2 arrives just in time for Black Friday and is now available on all digital streaming platforms and via the band’s website HERE. The band is currently in the studio working on their 12th studio album.

The Goo Goo Dolls have announced a new live album, titled “The Audience is This Way,” released July 21, featuring 10 previously unreleased live versions of tracks from the band’s rich catalog, mid-90s until the current studio album “Boxes” (2016). The recordings are from the band’s recent tours and were recorded by John Schimke and produced and mixed by John Rzeznik, Chris Szczech and Brad Fernquist. “The Audience is This Way” first appears as a limited edition of 3,000 copies of black vinyl at independent record shops for the Record Store Day Crawl Los Angeles. From the 24th of August the live album will also be available as download and stream everywhere.

Rzeznik thought of the album title during a phone conversation with his manager, who told Rzeznik to “think of a title for the record. Try to use one word”. As for the concert itself, the performance was enigmatic; garnering comparisons to the Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense from members of the band’s crew. Over 60,000 fans attended the performance, braving a torrential downpour.

It’s Christmas All Over is the first holiday album ever from American alternative rock band Goo Goo Dolls. Recorded in lockdown, It’s Christmas All Over features covers of Christmas classics as well as two new original songs. The album was produced by frontman John Rzeznik, Brad Fernquist and Jimmy McGorman. The band made a conscious attempt to not record harder rock versions of the standards, instead opting for traditional pop sounds.

The deluxe edition features 2 all-new bonus tracks, including a guest contribution from Kudisan Kai! Someone asked me to record a Christmas song for them for a compilation record… I had so much fun doing it that I thought, ‘Well, why don’t we make a whole record?’
