After a four-year break that followed Zombi’s beloved last album Escape Velocity, the American instrumental duo reclaims its rightful role as space rock overlords with Shape Shift. The album, self-produced by the band, is darker, heavier and more dynamic than previous works and more representative of the duo’s live shows; a fitting return to the roots.
