Theo Lawrence & The Hearts, the French band that mixes soul, folk and rock with talent, and especially with a disconcerting quiet strength, have released their first full-lenght album “Homemade Lemonade”, that promises to be the worthy successor of the EPs “Heaven to Me and Sticky Icky”, which had made them known to a wide audience in less than a year.

Closer to home, with Alabama Shakes, The White Stripes, Don Cavalli… In short, the DNA of Theo Lawrence & The Hearts is not destroyed by any sweetener and it is easy to understand that vintage music inspires and excites this young group. The surprise comes from where Theo and his accomplices originate, Paris! They are inhabited by a real passion mixing rock’n’roll, rhythm’n’blues, soul, blues and country: With their first album, these guys import the bayou into the French capital in less than two guitar riffs!
