To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got To Do With It”, a brand new collection of special edition albums will be released on April 26th. The 4CD/1DVD box contains the remastered original album on CD1, while CD2 contains a collection of edits, remixes and acapellas. CD3 and 4 contain Tina’s live show at the blockbuster Pavilion from 1993, which can also be seen on the DVD, as well as three music videos. The boxset also includes a poster and a 24-page booklet. Other formats of the album are a single LP, a double CD. Originally published on 15. The album “What’s Love Got To Do With It”, released in June 1993, was a commercial and critical success. The album was the soundtrack for the biographical film of the same name about Tina Turner and reached No. 1 in the UK, as well as the top 10 in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Canada and the top 20 in the USA. The album was certified platinum worldwide, including in the United Kingdom, the United States and Switzerland. It was a collection of songs, some of which were re-recorded from Tina’s Ike & Tina Turner period, including ‘A Fool In Love’, as well as five brand new songs, one of which – ‘I Don’t Wanna Fight’ – became a top 10 hit in both the UK and the US. The album also includes Turner’s version of The Trammps’ disco classic “Disco Inferno”, a song she often performed live at concerts in the late seventies, but had never recorded in the studio before. Two tracks from her 1984 solo album Private Dancer are also included, the title track and a remixed version of “I Might Have Been Queen”.

Tina Turns the Country On! is the debut solo studio album by Tina Turner, released in September 1974 on the United Artists Records.Released while Turner was still a member of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, it was an attempt by her husband, Ike Turner, to expose her to a wider audience. Although the album did not chart, it earned Turner a Grammy Award nomination in the “Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female” category.

Love Explosion is the fourth solo studio album by Tina Turner, released late 1979 on the EMI label in Europe, Ariola Records in West Germany and United Artists Records in the UK. Italy and South Africa followed in early 1980. The album was not released in the United States. It was her second solo album released after she left husband Ike Turner and the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Love Explosion failed to chart, so Turner lost her recording contract. It would be her last album until the critically acclaimed Private Dancer in 1984.

Acid Queen is the second solo studio album by Tina Turner. It was released in 1975 on the EMI label in the UK and on United Artists in the US. Although it is a Tina Turner solo album, the first single, “Baby, Get It On”, was a duet with Ike Turner, her musical partner and husband at the time. Acid Queen was her last solo album before their separation and her departure from Ike & Tina Turner Revue.

Break Every Rule was Turner’s follow-up album to the hugely successful comeback album Private Dancer. The first single Typical Male was a big chart success, reaching number two in the US and number three in Germany, alongside several top 10 finishes across the globe. Back Where You Started earned Tina another Grammy for ‘Best Rock Vocal Performance’ in 1987. The album included a number of star-studded guest performances and songwriting from David Bowie, Mark Knopfler, Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, Steve Winwood and many more. It also saw the return of Terry Britten and Graham Lyle’s songwriting partnership, penning the first five tracks of the album.
