After two years Blank & Jones finally presents a unique edition of their world-renowned Chilltronica series. 11 of the 13 tracks were recorded exclusively for this collection of artists like Antonmyes, Martin Roth, Marcus Loeber and of course Blank & Jones.

The Bliss team is now moving on solo paths, and both Marc-George Andersen and Steffen Aaskoven are making world premieres on the new Chilltronica album. But also artists like Sven Weisemann or Quentin Sirjacq, who belong to the generation around Nils Frahm, have to be discovered. Who is on The xx again will close the Silent Riders in his heart.

The work shines as a musical overall concept. Especially in times of endless and arbitrary playlists, it is this gift that makes the compilations of Blank & Jones so unique and unique: they lead us to something unheard of! They take you away from time and space and immerse yourself in the magic of music.

Finally Blank & Jones announce the follow up to their 2017 clubland return #WhatWeDoAtNight. After making waves with the singles One, Two, Three/C in late 2019, they now announced the next full electronica album for early January 2020. It’s a fine re-definition of their club-roots combining melodic techno with trance elements. Not retro but here and now the sound of 2020. The album will be available in three formats: (a) the original versions, (b) the extended versions, © a non-stop mixed club experience. So get down and follow Blank & Jones to their #WhatWeDoAtNight 2 adventure. It’s music for nightriders!

Imagine big city lights, empty streets and that special nighttime feeling when everyone else seems to be asleep and you are cruising around: the perfect soundtrack for nightriders! “Something” is a more melancholic & dark tune and sets the transition for the third track from the EP: “Thunder”: a pulsating monster that let’s you speed up on those highways at night.

Piet Blank and Jaspa Jones are a production and DJ duo who played a significant role in the late-’90s commercialization of trance, though they went on to be known as much for their remixes and eclectic downtempo material. Beginning with 1997 single “Sunrise,” they began releasing upbeat, euphoric tracks which appealed to clubs as well as pop radio, and they scored major hits with songs like 1999’s “Cream” and 2002’s “The Hardest Heart.”
