The magnificent Leuven song manuscript, written at the French court in the years 1470-1475, contains fifty pieces by great Franco-Flemish composers of the 15th century, such as Johannes Ockeghem, Antoine Busnoys and Firminus Caron, as well as twelve recently rediscovered works that cannot be found in any other previously known manuscript. With the present episodes 3 and 4, the conclusion of the highly meritorious and highly acclaimed complete recording of this fascinating manuscript with the Sollazzo Ensemble appears on PASSACAILLE.
