With this first album by the exciting duet comprising the pianists Marcos Madrigal and Alessandro Stella, the works of Stravinsky, Debussy and Respighi plunge the listener into arrangements of three of the great orchestral scores of the 20th century. Ottorino Respighi’s Fontane di Roma (The Fountains of Rome) is better known as an orchestral piece but is performed here in its Four Hands for Piano version composed by the composer himself. A celebration of colour and emotion celebrated by these two talented pianists.
