Two versions were released, one containing a single CD, with the second version being a double album on LP and CD known as AC/DC Live: 2 CD Collector’s Edition. A feature-length live video, AC/DC: Live at Donington, was released concurrently.[1] The double album AC/DC Live: 2 CD Collector’s Edition was released a month after the single-disc version, in a slipcased two-disc “book” (similar in shape to old CD longboxes) and containing an AC/DC dollar note known as “Angus Bucks”. Both editions of the album were re-released in 2003 as part of the AC/DC Remasters series.

AC/DC – Let There Be Rock (Remastered) (1977/2020) [Official Digital Download 24bit/96kHz]

This album came screaming out of Australia in 1977! AC/DC’s first stab at a “real” album – a break from the early “novelty” approach to songwriting and a move to the more focused album-oriented view that the band would perfect. Includes the classics Let There Be Rock; Bad Boy Boogie; Whole Lotta Rosie , and more!

Immediately after hearing the title of the record, you know what you’re in for, and AC/DC do not disappoint. Let There Be Rock is a treat for your ears, it has eight consistent tracks, all of which are great rockers that you would expect from AC/DC.

Let There Be Rock, the fourth AC/DC album – and first to see simultaneous international release – is as lean and mean as the original line-up ever got. Shaved down to the bone, there are only eight tracks, giving this a lethal efficiency even with a couple of meandering jams. This is a high-voltage, brutal record, filled with “Bad Boy Boogie.”

It has a bit of a bluesier edge than other AC/DC Albums, but this is truly the sound of the band reaching its peak. There’s the near majesty of “Let There Be Rock”, there’s Bon Scott acknowledging with a wink that “Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be”, and then there’s the monumental “Whole Lotta Rosie”.

Let There Be Rock is pure AC/DC in a nutshell – it’s sweaty, dirty, nasty rock, music that is played to the last call and beyond, and they’ve rarely done that kind of rock better than they did here.

Fly on the Wall is the tenth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, released on 28 June 1985 by Albert Productions, and Atlantic Records. It was the band’s ninth internationally released studio album and the tenth to be released in Australia.

Although AC/DC’s 1983 album Flick of the Switch had gotten mixed reviews from critics, the band remained one of the biggest hard rock acts in the world. In October 1984, Atlantic Records in the United States released the EP ’74 Jailbreak, a collection of studio tracks previously unreleased outside Australia, taken mainly from the band’s 1975 Australian debut High Voltage. In January 1985, the band took three weeks off from recording what would become Fly on the Wall to headline two nights at the 10-day Rock In Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, appearing to over 250,000 people on 19 January with The Scorpions, Whitesnake, and Ozzy Osbourne.

This album was produced by the band, instead of with an outside producer as had been done with their previous albums. According to the band they chose to do this to make the music sound raw once again, more or less returning to their roots. They were pleased with the results. Essentially, AC/DC wanted to move forward a bit from their current sound and worked hard to go back to the basics.

AC/DC released several albums in their home country before breaking worldwide. These Australian pressings contain different art and exclusive music. For American and European fans, the Australian records provide a fascinating glimpse into the early years of AC/DC. HIGH VOLTAGE AC/DC released their debut album on February 17, 1975. The original High Voltage was released in Australia only and bears little resemblance to the international version. Legions of fans accustomed to seeing Angus grace High Voltage immediately notice the different artwork. The true shocker is the track list. “She’s Got Balls”…

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is the third studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was the band’s third album released in Australia and second in Europe in 1976 but was not released in the United States until 1981, more than one year after lead singer Bon Scott’s death.

When Bon Scott died at the age of 33, many thought this was the end of AC/DC. The band rebounded by recruiting vocalist Brian Johnson (a Scott favorite) and releasing their best-selling album ever, BACK IN BLACK.

BONFIRE is a five-album tribute to the pugnacious and raspy-voiced Scott, overflowing with the bare-fisted riffs and ribald lyrics that were the trademark of his edition of the band. Recorded live at New York’s Atlantic Studios, Disc 1 was originally a promotional only release that’s been bootlegged countless times over the years. All thriller, no filler, this recording overflows with plenty of classics ranging from the band’s cheeky tribute to venereal disease (“The Clap”) to the tale of an over-sexed Rubenesque female fan (“Whole Lotta Rosie”.) Discs Two and Three are an expanded version of the soundtrack to the 1980 concert film “Let There Be Rock”. Recorded before a French audience, AC/DC’s in-your-face performance transcended any cultural differences and the audience often sang along despite language barriers. Entitled VOLTS, consists of work-in-process studio recordings of material such as “Touch Too Much” and “Get It Hot” with different lyrics than the finished versions. The inclusion of the slow blues of “Ride On” shows another side to AC/DC often lost among the lascivious offerings of “Beatin’ Around The Bush” and “She’s Got Balls”. A re-mastered version of BACK IN BLACK completes this set marking the end of one era and the beginning of another.

“Ballbreaker” is the 13th studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was the band’s twelfth internationally released studio album and the thirteenth to be released in Australia.

Ballbreaker marked the return of drummer Phil Rudd, who had played on all AC/DC albums from their Australian album T.N.T. (1975) to Flick of the Switch (1983). Rudd had left during the Flick of the Switch sessions due to drug problems and his incompatibility with Malcolm Young. According to Arnaud Durieux’s book AC/DC: Maximum Rock & Roll, Rudd attended AC/DC’s show in Auckland in November 1991 and, after a friendly meeting with the band backstage, made an “open-ended pitch” to rejoin if anything changed with the band’s current drummer Chris Slade. Durieux reports that the band eventually invited Rudd to rejoin and he accepted in August 1994, much to the chagrin of Slade, who had been recording demos with the band in London. Slade told Rock Hard France in June 2001 that he was so disappointed and disgusted that he did not touch his drum kit for three years. Slade would eventually rejoin the band for their performance at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony and the 2015 Rock or Bust World Tour following Rudd’s legal issues involving illegal drug possession and threatening to kill his former personal assistant, both of which forced him out of the band a second time.
