Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album by Canadian country-pop singer Shania Twain, released on November 8, 2004 by Mercury Nashville. The album contains seventeen of Twain’s hits, including all of her seven number one hits on the Hot Country Songs chart. Notably absent from the track list is Twain’s self-titled debut album, in which no songs were included. Some songs are included in their pop versions such as “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “I’m Gonna Getcha Good!”. “Ka-Ching!” was included in the European version of Greatest Hits as the song was a massive hit there.

Three new songs were recorded and released for the compilation: “Party for Two” (featuring Mark McGrath or Billy Currington), “Don’t!”, and “I Ain’t No Quitter”. “Party for Two” went on to peak at number seven on the Hot Country Songs chart (her final top ten hit at country radio) and peaked within the top ten in six other countries. “Don’t!” was a moderate hit, peaking within the top twenty on the Adult Contemporary chart and the top 40 in the UK but was a number four hit on the Canadian R&R Country Top 50. “I Ain’t No Quitter” was one of Twain’s least successful singles, becoming her first since “God Bless the Child” to miss the top 40 at US country but peaked at number eight at Canada country.

Greatest Hits was commercially successful; It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and at number one on the Top Country Albums chart with 530,000 copies sold, staying there for eleven consecutive weeks. The album was also the highest selling country album in the US for 2005, and was certified 4× platinum in the US and 3× platinum in the UK. Additionally, Greatest Hits was recognized by Guinness World Records as the fastest-selling greatest hits album by a female artist in the US. As of December 2019, the album has sold 4.4 million copies in the US.

In late September 2023, in response to requests from fans, Twain announced that Greatest Hits would be released on vinyl for the first time. It will be available in four versions: a standard black vinyl, and three limited editions vinyls: opaque blue, baby pink, and Coke bottle clear. In addition, two new tracks are added: “Giddy Up” and “Life’s About to Get Good”. The Greatest Hits vinyl is set to be released on November 17, 2023.
