Swiss up your choir! The choral book Swiss Choral Music is a colourful treasure trove for exploring the newer choral music in Switzerland. As diverse as the country itself, not only different musical styles are represented in the collection, but all national languages (French, Swiss-German, Romansh, Italian) as well as English and Latin are represented.

The editors are the renowned choral conductors Johannes Meister and Patrick Secchiari. With their selection for this foray through the mountainous country, they have placed well-known composers such as Beat Furrer or Heinz Holliger next to up-and-coming young artists such as Sara Bucher or Grégoire May, as well as included previously unpublished pieces.

For pure listening pleasure or as an aid to pronunciation, all movements were sung with the Swiss Youth Choir under the direction of Nicolas Fink. The CD (2.305/99) is available separately, but is also included with the choir book with CD (2.305/00). Pronunciation aids for the Romansh and Swiss-German texts can be retrieved via QR code.
