Olivia Trummer on their debut album avoids the heavy rhythms of hip hop. Instead, the 21-year-old Baden-Württembergerin, bassist Joel Locher and drummer Marcel Gustke subtle swing, but also romantic and consistently. The newcomer can condense a lot of time to build their pieces, they always listen to each other, they communicate, they relax the atmosphere and at the right moments – and without doubt have allies Miss Trummer a keen sense of drama and dynamics. Smooth and powerful, gripping and dreamy, introverted, and present sounds of the wings. Delicately decorated and plays around Olivia Trummer the melodic substance with differentiated stop, where she always remains focused on the essentials – a great talent that still leaves a lot of hope.
