The American Francophile, Natalia M. King, is an artist of great integrity, one who carries the heritage of black music in her soul, its rhythmical groove as well as its strong sense of identity and passionate commitment. After a recording pause, King has decided to break her silence. She returns with an album of blazing new tracks, most of which are self-composed.

Featuring live studio recordings which privilege the warm sound of acoustic instruments, the tracks on Soulblazz pulse to the power of three: the spirituality of soul, the intensity of the blues and the aestheticism of jazz, to which the singer injects the energy of her rock roots. So don’t be surprised should your ears echo the spirits of Nina Simone, Thelonious Monk and Janis Joplin.
