Killing Joke sind wieder da und kündigen ein neues Album an. Nach der Reformierung im Jahre 2009 und den beiden Alben „Absolute Dissent“ und „MMXII“ kommt nun „Pylon“, das sechzehnte Werk der Post-Punk Pioniere aus West London. „The sound of the earth vomitting“ – so wurde der Sound der Band oft beschrieben. Mit ihrem neuen Album soll sich nichts daran ändern. „Pylon“ ist nichts für einen gemütlichen Abend am Kaminfeuer. Zusammen mit Produzent Tom Dalgety, der jüngst die erfolgreichen Royal Blood unter den Reglern hatte, kreiert die Band den typischen rituellen, rauen und kompromisslosen Sound.

Youth zum Album Titel “Pylon”: “It’s simple… Stark brutal industrial suicide… This is the third in a triptych of albums, Absolute Dissent, MMXII and now Pylon… heavy and uncompromising, bleak dystopian lyrics, as well as some visionary celebration… lots of black pain emotion. To be honest, we remain genre blind so our music will always cover a vast spectrum of influences, from disco right through to heavy metal and beyond…”
