RökFlöte is the 23rd studio album by the British progressive rock band Jethro Tull, released on 21 April 2023.

It is a follow-up to The Zealot Gene (2022). This is the shortest gap between Jethro Tull studio albums since 1980.

In early 2022, after a long break, Ian Anderson presented The Zealot Gene, an album with his reactivated band Jethro Tull. As early as April 2023, the next record from the folk-rock group, RökFlöte, followed. This time around, Nordic mythology is at the center of the 12 rather short songs, which bring together rock sounds and folk elements with prog flair in their familiar band style, with Anderson’s “rock flute” of the title naturally in the foreground again. The singles “Ginnungagap,” “The Navigators,” and “Hammer on Hammer” give a fitting impression.
