Originally from Oakville, Ontario, Jessica Correa moved to Peterborough to begin her educational journey in Environmental Sciences/Studies and she then completed her Master’s Degree in Sustainability Studies in 2015. From 2015 to 2022, Jessica Correa ideated, founded, built, managed, and operated Random Acts of Green, a social enterprise that raises awareness about small lifestyle changes people can take to make a meaningful impact on our planet.

Her speciality focuses on bringing awareness to practical, day-to-day eco-lifestyle habits that can add up to make big differences for our planet. For nearly a decade, the Random Acts of Green team under Jessica Correa’s leadership collected an impressive database of over 4,000 eco actions people can take to improve the health of our environment.

Jessica Correa creatively brings awareness to how environmental problems, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and plastic waste are all our collective responsibility to tackle.

Jessica Correa has travelled across the country advancing the message about how individual actions make an impact. She’s worked with over 200+ organizations and helped engage corporate teams, like Sleeman Breweries and The Beer Store and has also worked with government entities, like Environment Canada and Climate Change and Ontario’s Partners in Climate Action program on building innovative solutions, such as the Random Acts of Green App.

Over the years, Jessica Correa has been a leader and advocate for sustainable lifestyles and creates awareness and actions to reduce climate change in any way possible. Her mission is to disprove the thinking that one person cannot make a difference for the planet and that small changes add up.
