Another highlight for all Frank Zappa fans: the legendary Halloween shows from 1981 will be available in a box in 2020.

“Halloween 81, Live At The Palladium” is the name of the collection of live recordings, which includes a total of three concerts on six CDs. The recordings were made on 31 October 1981 at two concerts and on 1 November 1981 at a concert.

There are a total of 78 previously unreleased live songs waiting. All tracks were remixed from the original multitrack tapes for the release. It includes classics such as “Montana”, “Joe’s Garage”, “Watermelon In Easter Hay”, “Stevie’s Spanking”, “Easy Meat”, “Suicide Chump” and many more.

As a special extra of the box, a “Count Frankula” mask is waiting together with a red and black cape. There is also a 52-page booklet with photos and new liner notes by touring band member Robert Martin, Vaultmeister Joe Travers and the present fan Gary Titone.
