“The Chopin Project” is the most ambitious project of the Franco-Belgian cellist Camille Thomas to date, which includes a trio of albums paying tribute to Chopin’s favorite instrument.

In “The Franchomme Legacy”, the first chapter of the trilogy, Thomas explores the relationship between Chopin and his close friend and cellist colleague Auguste Franchomme. In this collection she shows the influence that Franchomme had on Chopin’s music and the deep connection between these two great musicians.
