Four bassoons perform a fascinating art. Debut album by bassoon quartet “The Nuts”! This is the debut album by “The Nuts,” an ensemble of three bassoonists from the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra and one from the Aichi Chamber Orchestra. Featured is the Japan premiere of Köper’s concerto for bassoon quartet and orchestra, “Fakturen”. This concerto, written for four bassoons, is a rare work with a beautiful melody and colorful orchestration.
