Death Church from the incomparable Rudimentary Peni is a landmark release from the anarchist leftist wing of punk rock. Released on UK’s Corpus Christi label in 1983 with a fold out poster sleeve, Death Church sets the bar high for others with a ton of great songs culminating in a near perfect album. Highlights include “1/4 Dead”, “Blissful Myth” the venomous “The Psycho Squat”, “Rotten To The Core”, “When You Are A Martian Church”, “Nothing But A Nightmare” and basically every song on this iconic LP. Nick Blinko leads Rudimentary Peni on this monumental slice of left leaning Hardcore. Without a doubt one of the most important releases ever.
