This album sounds very much like a sequel to his first album “Eine Art Suite” from 1979.
But where that one was very focused, structured and innovative, this album is looser to a degree where it almost sounds like a jam or rehersal. Seldom is a melody or idea allowed to develop before something else is tried out. There are also a few recyclers on this album like on most of his later albums.
Not his best, but not his worst either.
