After the 2020 album “Paradise”, a politically charged look at life in their hometown of Aberdeen, and “Goodbye To Misery” from 2022, Cold Years return in 2024 with their most triumphant work to date, “A Different Life”.
Recorded at Barber Shop Studios in New Jersey by producer Brett Romnes (Hot Mulligan, Boston Manor, Heart Attack Man, Brand New) and mastered by Rogue Planet Mastering (Against The Current, A Day To Remember, The Bronx), ‘A Different Life’ is packed with songs that are both deeply personal and universally relatable. First single ‘Roll With It’ is a haunting, socially charged punk rock anthem with an infectious chorus that feels like it’s been waiting forever to erupt at any moment.
