Danish Concertos for Recorder and Organ contains world premiere recordings of four major original works and transcriptions by composer Thomas Koppel, composer and painter Martin Lohse, composer and jazz pianist Thomas Clausen and composer and organist Lars Kristian Hansen.

Thomas Koppel’s iconic symphonic work “Moonchild’s Dream” has been recorded by the two musicians with special permission from Annisette in this innovative and impressive version for recorder and organ.

The two soloist-trained musicians in Doppler Duo, recorder Monica Schmidt Andersen and organist Tina Christiansen, have both received awards at international competitions, and their extensive international careers have taken them far and wide to festivals, concert halls and cathedrals across large parts of Europe, as well as in Russia and Australia.

Together in Doppler Duo, they tackle some of the most demanding works with great energy and enthusiasm, and the duo’s many performances have caused great excitement in Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
