Since its creation in 2020, Octetology has won the first prize of the international competition of Castelfidardo in Italy, in the category “Piazzolla Awards”; and counts on beautiful programs (Châtelet Theater, FIP live Studio concert at Radio France 104, Nacres Nights, Musical Nights of Uzès, Tango Festival of Gennevilliers, Generations France Live music, …). Dedicated to the flamboyant and emblematic Octeto Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla, these eight musicians trace the origins of Tango Nuevo to deliver a resolutely modern interpretation.
