At nightfall, Les Noces de Feu draws us into the love story of a muse who floats and glides on the inky mirror of the old sleeping lake. With her violin she calls her fiancé, a virtuoso pianist with long crystal fingers, who emerges from the dark waters with his piano of light. The two of them bring up their old memories from the depths, which come out like dazzling surges, leading them to their wedding. Magnified by the organs of water and fire that unfold on the lake, the wedding will be celebrated in a golden coach pulled by giant swans…

This romantic story composes a ballet carried by the greatest classical tunes. This is why the Puy du Fou has chosen the best musicians to interpret the music. Camille and Julie Berthollet, the prodigy sisters of the young French generation, and their accomplice Vincent Forestier, have answered the call of the Puy du Fou to play the muse and the virtuoso, in this musical dialogue full of emotions and contrasts. To give the show its musical colour and rhythm, Samuel Pegg and Martin Batchelar, London collaborators of the greatest composers of our time, have sculpted a tailor-made orchestration for this show, full of finesse. It is in London, in the most sought-after studio in the world – Air Studios – that the Puy du Fou has brought together the finest musicians in demand to perform the famous melodies. Finally, the organs link us to our beloved Vendée, since for one night, they rang out for us in Luçon, thanks to the talent of Michel Bourcier.

Now enjoy what the greatest composers have left us, specially rewritten for the Puy du Fou, and join the Noces de Feu ball!
