A pupil of Liszt, Juliusz Zarȩbski (1854-1885) belonged to the pianistic hauteur in the second half of the 19th century. Due to his short life, however, he left only a few original compositions, including almost exclusively piano works. For DUX, Piotr Sałajczyk and Maria Szwajger-Kulakowska have now recorded his entire piano oeuvre on four CDs.
