Arnold Eidus (November 28, 1922, New York – July 3, 2013, Delray Beach, Florida) was an American violinist.

He became famous in 1946 by winning the International Long and Thibault Competition in Paris and making an exceptional impression on the founding father of the competition, Jacques Thibault: “What a luxury, like the sparkle of sound. And the technique! He doesn’t miss a single note. You Americans don’t know what talents you have,” Thibault said about Eidus to a correspondent of Time magazine[2].

Of the recordings of Eidus, his work on the works of Zoltan Kodai in duet with Janos Starker is the most famous.
